Is making war work?
I’m Jasmine, a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Toronto. I research, write, and teach the intersection of political theory, labour, and empire with a focus on the military as a site of class struggle and as an exemplar of the broader feature of capitalist life that is the multi-racial, global, working class’ implication in colonialism and the exploitation of nature, self and others.
My dissertation is called Soldiers in Capitalist Society: Critique of the Labour of Political Violence.
